Dans le langage courant, on parle souvent de cuir recyclé, et c’est ce terme que j’utilise ici pour rester compréhensible. Mais pour être exacte, mes créations sont faites en cuir surcyclé : des cuirs déjà existants que je valorise pour créer des pièces uniques et artisanales.
La différence ? Le cuir recyclé implique un procédé industriel qui transforme la matière pour en refaire une nouvelle.
Le surcyclage, lui, consiste à donner une nouvelle vie à ce qui existe déjà, avec créativité et savoir-faire, pour créer quelque chose d’unique et responsable.

Why all these details? Because the inside, the back, and the edges of the bag are, to me, just as important as the front.
